arbnco announces Ian Marchant’s appointment to Board of Directors
arbnco is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Marchant to its Board of Directors. With over 30 years of experience in the energy, utilities, and renewables sectors, Ian brings a wealth of expertise that will support arbnco’s mission to drive innovation in energy data access, carbon reporting, and decarbonisation.
Ian’s career includes his role as CEO of Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), where he played a key part in transforming the company into one of the UK’s largest energy providers. He also holds leadership roles as Chair of Morgan Advanced Materials and as a board member at Fred Olsen Limited.
In addition to his corporate roles, Ian has actively contributed to climate action initiatives and has served on the boards of companies such as John Wood Group, Aggreko and Thames Water further highlighting his extensive governance experience.

Ian’s appointment comes at a key time for arbnco as the company continues its growth. His experience will be valuable in helping arbnco deliver leading energy efficiency solutions.
